Malah D. Pack
Guyton- Malah D. Pack, 80, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her home.
The Effingham County native was retired from the Effingham County Board of Education, where she worked as a paraprofessional and a bus driver for over 30 years. She was a charter member of Bible Lutheran Church, having been a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Batchelor, Sr. and her husband, Ed Lee Pack.
She was a wonderful caring mother to her children and family. Her friends were always considered part of her extended family. Her love for children and animals was evident in her life. She will be deeply missed, but will be waiting for us all in Heaven.
She is survived by her children, John Robert Batchelor, Jr. (Linda), Guerry Loy Batchelor, Mark Craig Batchelor (Michelle), Pam Sebastian (Rick), Cindy Cordero (Francisco); grandchildren, Jennifer Blanton (Warren), Marcus Batchelor (Lora), Heather Browne (Austin), Brooke Jones (Phil), Megan Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Bailey, Will, Wyatt, Alexis, Braylynn.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 am Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church.
Interment: Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery
