On July 26, 2021, Marcus Antoine Walker was welcomed by God while being surrounded by loved ones at home.  His recent battle with cancer showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a smile.  Despite the pain, Marcus came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.  He was preceded in death by both his father, Chris Walker, Sr. and mother, Jacquelyn Hutchinson.

Marcus is survived by his beautiful, loving wife, Kellie Walker and their astounding son, Marcus Traivon Walker.  Marcus is survived by his siblings, David Walker, Chris Walker, Jr., Shane Boulware and Leah Kirksey.  Additionally, he has several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews that loved him dearly.

Marcus was a devoted husband, and a proud dedicated father.  He was also known for his sharp barbering skills for many years.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him.  He is a man that had a vibe for style and music, a passion for his family and his friends.  He touched many lives with his powerful words of wisdom and his astonishing ways of speaking God's word.  Marcus' cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all who know and love him dearly.  His life was remarkable as now his spirit.

The visitation will be on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 12:30 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road in Chatham County.
