Port Wentworth-Marcy Randall Hall, 56, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marcy Hall; his maternal grandparents, Ulva & Amy Exley and his paternal grandparents, Lonar & Belle Hall. He was born in Savannah and was self-employed. He was a member of the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church where he attended the Nona Grovenstein Sunday School Class and was a member of the Chancel Choir. He loved being with his friends and helping whenever he could. There was never a shortage of jokes and fun times around Randy. He loved his animals, fishing with friends and playing in his garden.
Survivors include his mother, Ulverlene "Ava" Hall of Port Wentworth, a number of cousins, many friends and his dogs, Lucy & Gus.
The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home. The funeral to honor Randy's life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Tom Edwards, Rev. Gordon Dukes and Rev. Madison Morgan will officiate. Music will be provided by Tim Wheeles and Andy Quinney. Active pallbearers will be S.N. Zipperer, Jr., Justin Zipperer, Derrick Zipperer, Tony Barras, Andy Quinney and Mark Stewart. Members of the Nona Grovenstein Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church Organ Fund or Youth Department, 201 Turnberry Street, Port Wentworth, GA 31407.
