Mrs. Maree Heidt Patrick, 87, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

She was born in Effingham County to the late Jacob Ray Heidt & Willie Lee Cochran Heidt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin K. Patrick, Sr. and eight sisters and one brother.  She was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Watson Davis Sunday School Class, she had sang in the choir and had served on the Administrative Board.  She had worked at John D. Carswell Company for over 20 years and with the City of Bloomingdale for 11 years.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Tere Patrick and Jake & Ellen Patrick; grandchildren, Amber & Matt Cary, Christie Patrick and Jake Patrick, Jr. & Shannon; great-grandchildren, Sydney Grimes, Ryder, Knox & Isla Cary, Breeleigh, Bailey, Hailey and Kailey Patrick; sisters, Mary Harden and Lida Peth; brother, Charlie Heidt and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alpha United Methodist Church located at 106 U.S. Hwy. 80 East in Bloomingdale with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
