Mrs. Margaret G. Atamanchuk, 100, of Pooler, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at The Oaks at Pooler.

She was born in Martin County, NC to the late Robert Henry & Lorena Mae Jackson Gurganus.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Micheal S. Atamanchuk.  She was a member of the Pooler First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Mary Margaret "Maggi" Nicoletta and Micheal Stephen Atamanchuk, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3 ^rd at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler, GA.

The funeral and burial will be conducted by Maitland Funeral Home located at 306 Latham Avenue in Plymouth, NC.
