Guyton-Mrs. Margaret Diane Shearouse, 71, died at Candler Hospital on January 6, 2016 after a long illness.
She was born on June 10, 1944 in Hartsfield, GA to Handley Milton and Mary Thelma Young. Diane lived in Guyton, GA, and retired from Bouchillon Body Service after 20 years of service as Office Manager. She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church where she served as a Life Group Leader and worked in the Welcome Center.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, John C. Shearouse; children, Don (Aimee), Michael (Phyllis), John, Deborah, Michelle (Barry), James (Bonnie), Jeffrey (Johnnie); 25 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at Countryside Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Weredyk, Rick Bradham, Joe Shearouse, Drew Schuman, Sammy Stroude, and Gregg Stroude. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
