Margaret Smith Williams

Clyo- Margaret Smith Williams, 93, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Effingham Care Center.

The Effingham County native was former owner/operator of Williams Store in Clyo for 43 years. She was a member of Wingard Memorial Lutheran Church and the Clyo Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Williams, Sr. and her son, Joseph E. Williams, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Samuel Cary Williams, Sr. (Beth) and Ann Williams Ford (Ken); 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 1-2 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Laurel Hill Lutheran Church Cemetery.
