Obituary
Rincon-Mrs. Margarette "Peggy" Cribbs, 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Peggy was born in Wadley, GA and lived in Port Wentworth for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Green Cribbs and a daughter, Teresa Gail Romine. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon. She was a homemaker who loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her children, William Stephen Cribbs and wife, Georgia, Diane Williams and husband, Michael and Terry Cribbs and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Darrel Dowd, Tonya Jonas, Keith Anderson, Nicholas Williams, Wendy Dunkley, Daniel Romine and Candace Romine; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Parker Bishop and wife, Omelar and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to the First Baptist Church of Rincon Building Fund, 201 East 6th Street, Rincon, GA 31326.
