Mrs. Margie Mixon Boykin, 87, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Pruitt Health-Seaside in Port Wentworth.

Mrs. Margie was born in Pulaski, Georgia to the late Austin and Maggie Holloway Mixon.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Bubba" Boykin, her son, Gerald Boykin, Jr., a daughter, Pattie Moore, a son-in-law, Doug Moore, Sr., a grandson, Matthew Moore, sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Carlos Turner, brother and sister-in-law, L.B. and Wilma Mixon, brother, Gene Mixon, brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Mixon, brother, Lehmon Mixon.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth and was employed many years at Sapp's Wrecker Service.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Ellen Padgett of Port Wentworth, Toni and Stafford Geoghagan of Port Wentworth; daughter-in-law, Donna Boykin; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pruitt Health-Seaside for the care provided to Mrs. Margie.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Mrs. Margie's life will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City with Rev. Paul Mongin and Mr. Keith Turner officiating.
