Mrs. Maria Aurora Newman, 83, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at her home.

She will be missed by her husband of 25 years, Robert M. "Bob" Newman, as well as several children.

Aurora was born in the Philippines and was preceded in death by her first husband.  She was a faithful member of Southwest Baptist Church where she served in the nursery for many years.  She was a loving wife and a homemaker.

The visitation will be on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Southwest Baptist Church located at 831 Little Neck Road, Savannah, Georgia.  The funeral to honor Aurora's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church.
