Marie Lucy Matera Brown

Rincon, GA– Marie Lucy Matera Brown, 89, passed away November 12, 2019 at her daughter's residence.

She was a previous resident of Sparta, New Jersey and  New Smyrna Beach, FL, before moving to  Rincon, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Carmella Campanello Matera; brother, Salvadore Matera; children, Frank Brown and Diane Hornyak; and grandson, Corey Brown.

Survivors include her children, John Brown (Lan) and Marianne Avila (Francis); step-daugther, Joanne Corners; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Brown; grandchildren, Kara Pabst (Steven), John Hornyak (Meghan), and Jason Hornyak (Alexis); great-grandchildren, Colten, Avreigh, Adalynn, Keegan, Tessa, Evelyn, Michelle, Eric, and Alissa; her best friend, Janice.

Private services will be held.
