Mrs. Marie Gayanelle Turner, 78, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Gainesville, FL to the late John E. Glover and Julia Ruth Price Glover.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Turner, son, James Turner, and siblings, Emily Dawson, Johnny Glover, Gene Glover, Margie Pendley, and Marcia Glover.  She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church and retired from Atlantic Wood Industries where she was a pole buyer.  She will be remembered as a loving and Godly wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Larissa Knight (Winton) and Michelle Ogle-Heidt (Eric Heidt-deceased); grandchildren, Brianna Hendley (Lee), Mikell Ogle, Caroline Vandiver (Caleb), and Lisa Smoak (Barry); great-grandchildren, Addie Hendley, Morgan Hendley, Abigail Vandiver,  Emily Vandiver, Ellie Smoak, and Jeb Smoak; sister, Katrinka Howell and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the funeral home from 10 until 11 a.m.  The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Alderman Cemetery.  Rev. Brian McElveen will officiate and the pallbearers will be Mikell Ogle, Lee Hendley, Caleb Vandiver, Barry Smoak, Phillip Turner, and Winton Knight.

The family would like to acknowledge with appreciation the years of love and tender care given to Jimmy and Marie Turner provided by their caregivers, Amy Mascunana, Rachel Teel, Tanya Turner, Patricia Scott and Denise Scott.
