Brooklet -- Marie Boyles Wilkes, 60, passed away February 28, 2017 at her residence.
The Effingham County native was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. She formerly was employed at Advance Auto Parts and was the owner/operator of Stilson Connection. She loved plants, flowers, and her animals.
She was predeceased by her father, Watson Boyles and her step-father, Howard Sapp.
Survivors include her husband, Rocky Wilkes; daughters Jamie (Chris) Batayias and Renee (Johnny) Bridges; grandchildren, Logan Batayias, Kristin Batayias, Jessie Skinner, Tommy Yocum and Robert Yocum, Jr.; her mother, Evelyn Sapp; siblings, Carol Boyles, Larry Boyles, Roger Boyles, Sandra Page, and Michelle Davis; 3 great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Catheron Wilkes; a number of nieces and nephews; and her dog, Todd.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Olive Branch Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Old Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
