Mrs. Marilyn Griffith, 83, of Guyton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Marilyn was born in Jefferson City, Missouri and had lived here for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Robert Griffith, a daughter, Terra Lynn McKnight, her parents, Harry C. and Flossie Whittle Lewis, and three brothers, James C. Lewis, Larry G. Lewis, and John A. Lewis.  She was a retired L.P.N. and a caretaker at heart.  She attended Gateway Church, but she will be remembered for loving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and for loving her family.  She will be missed.

Survivors include her children, Kent McKnight (Michelle), Curtis Griffith (Yvonne), Susan Bass (Ralph), and Mitzi Arnott (David); a number of grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, David M. Lewis (Sue), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Marilyn's life will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
