Obituary
Ms. Marilyn Marshburn, 73, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Ms. Marilyn was born in Swainsboro to the late Albert Dewey & Rosa Monroe. She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing and cooking, especially frying shrimp.
Survivors include her former husband, Gene Osteen; daughters, Marsha & James Deal, and Angela Aeger; grandchildren, Alicia & Paul Dury, Kristie & Josh Moore, Ashley & Alan Zeigler, Jamie Aeger, Michael Aeger, and Jennifer Aeger; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Lamar Monroe, Ray & Sue Monroe, Franklin Eugene & Sherry Monroe, Billy & Virginia Monroe, Geraldine & Bill Mitchell and Pauline & Freddie Boxxe, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Tuesday at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
