Bloomingdale-Marjorie Ann Glover Robbins, 83, passed away on Friday, May 18th after a short illness.
She was born in Savannah, GA on July 16, 1928 and lived most of her life in Savannah. She worked for McCrory's Department Store in Savannah for 10 years.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herman Lee Robbins; five children, Robert Robbins, Linda King (Jack), Ray Robbins, Wanda Houston (Fred), and Richard Robbins (DeeDee). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Russell Glover, Bennie Glover, and George Glover; 2 sisters, Dora Smith and Mae Williams, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The visitation was from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
The funeral to celebrate Mrs. Robbins' life was at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Leonard Daugherty officiated and the pallbearers were Pasquinel Ellison, Shane Ellison, Ray Robbins, Dale Robbins, David Wilcox and Aaron Bonorato. Burial followed in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
