Pooler-Miss Marjorie Kirkland, 72, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at The Place
at Pooler.

Miss Kirkland was born in Emanuel County and moved to Chatham County in 1974. She
was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the
C.A.R.C.W. for nine years. She was a resident of The Place at Pooler (formerly Moss
Oaks Nursing Home) since 1981 where for years she greeted people with friendly
welcomes and entertained them with her dancing.

Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thomas Edward & Helen
Kirkland of Rincon, Henry Clay Kirkland of Lyons and Willard Ray & Kay Kirkland of
Metter; one niece and several nephews.

Visitation: 12 noon until funeral time on Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Cool Springs Cemetery near Metter.
