Marjorie Lee Cannady Scott

Cochran- Marjorie Lee Cannady Scott, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Mrs. Scott was born on October 10, 1920 in Augusta, GA to the late Daniel and Ollie Patrick Cannady. She was a charter member of New Vision Pentecostal Holiness Church in Guyton, but after moving to Cochran became a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cecil Scott; brother, Loran Louis Cannady; sister, Carrie Cannady Boatright; and daughter, Linda Carol Scott.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her son, Wendell Cecil Scott (Sandra); daughter, Patsy Scott; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 10-11 am Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
