Mrs. Marjorie SUE Wheeles, 77, of Brooklet, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.  Sue is now absent from her body, present with the Lord.

Sue is certainly going to be missed by her husband of 59 years, Bert James Wheeles, Jr.; children, Bert James Wheeles, III, and Carolyn Jean Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Brian K. Fitzgerald, Jr. (Heather Glisson-Fitzgerald), Matthew Robert Fitzgerald (Meredith Amason-Fitzgerald), Brandon Andrew Fitzgerald (Ashley Lively-Fitzgerald), Faith Marie Grant (Tehaka Grant), Heather Nicole Fitzgerald, Bert James Wheeles IV "B.J.", and Robert Wheeles "Robbie"; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Kelly Hood (David), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Sue was born in Swainsboro, Georgia and was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wheeles; son-in-law, Brian K. Fitzgerald, Sr., and her parents, James Elwell Moore and Mae Jean Boatright Moore.  She had been employed with Freidman's Jewelers for 30 years, Publix for 11 years, but most importantly, a faithful pastor's wife for many years.  She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She was a hard worker and a faithful caregiver to many.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Immanuel Baptist Church, 10290 U.S. Highway 80, Brooklet, GA  30415.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Sue's life will be on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Highway 80 in Bloomingdale, Georgia.
