Mr. Mark Andrew Bromund, 66, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Mark was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Edward Bromund and Margaret Elizabeth Park Young.  He was also preceded in death by sons, Michael Paul Bromund, William Bromund, and Mark A. Bromund, Jr., and his step-father, William R. Young.  He served his country and retired from the United States Navy.  In his spare time, he enjoyed repairing automobiles.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Bromund; daughter, Kristina M. Bell (Bubba J.); grandchildren, Samantha Jones (fiance'-James Johnson) and Brandon Jones (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Christopher "C.J.", Willow, and Talia; brothers, Edward Bromund and Richard Bromund; sisters, Diane Jones and Laura Young; a number of nieces and nephews including Sheila Harley.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with the graveside burial with military honors to follow at 2 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery located at 1601 Boundary Street in Beaufort, South Carolina.  Steve Exley will officiate.  The pallbearers will be Bobby Oglesby, Brandon Jones, James Johnson, James Cazzell, Brenton Oglesby and Bubba J.
