Savannah-Ms. Marsha Douberly Smith, 50, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at her home.
Marsha was a homemaker and enjoyed poetry. She loved her family and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Carol Douberly and a brother, Jerry Douberly.
Survivors include her children, Brian Edwards, Clinton Edwards, Tammi Smith, Chris Smith and Scotty Smith; grandchildren, Aleya, Jobbie, Justin, Colin, Caelei, Trinidy, Jayden, Elizabeth and Syria; mother and step-father, Grace & James Pierce; father, Gerald Douberly; sisters, Debbie Batayias, Susan Castlebury, Karen Spence and Jennifer Cobb; brother, Joseph Douberly; lifelong companion, Tony Lewis and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
