Springfield – Marsha Gerrald Walker, 69, passed away January 1, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Effingham County native retired from Gulfstream.  She was a member of Mizpah Church, loved to travel, dance, listening to music, playing cards, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Conley Alexander Gerrald and Ruby Cowart Gerrald; brother, Dale Gerrald; and her husband, James Stanley Walker.

Survivors include her children, Ike Wright (Heather) and Dale Wright; 6 grandchildren; brother, Michael Gerrald (Vicki); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2023 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2023 at Mizpah Church.

Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery.
