Rincon – Martha Arnold, 89, passed away March 1, 2025 at Effingham Care Center.

Born in Matthews, GA on July 7, 1935 to the late Reece C. and Eliza Mae Arrington.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight T. Arnold; her sister, Verna Arrington; and brother, Romie Arrington.

Martha retired from Gulfstream Aerospace after 25 years of service and enjoyed her co-workers.  After retiring she loved camping at Frog's Landing on the Ogeechee River with her family and friends-BBQ's, Fish Fry's, volleyball games, swimming, and campfires were weekly occurrences.

Survivors include her sister, Edna Arrington Pearce; children, Donnie (Brenda) Arnold, Cindy (Julio) Navarro, Robert C. Arnold; and Donna Dunn; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
