Rincon-Mrs. Martha Virginia Davis Bennett Tucker, 86, died on Saturday, November 22,
2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Columbus, GA to the late William Frank and Frances Vashti
Davis. She was a member of the Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Garden City,
enjoyed reading and was a loving caregiver to many. She was also preceded in death by
two husbands, Marcellous Bennett and Allen Tucker; a brother, Frank Davis and two
sisters, Carolyn Allen and Mary Frances Stimel.

Survivors include her daughter, F. Dolores Bennett Denison of Rincon; grandchildren,
Malcolm, Tony and Douglas Denison and Raina Denison Martin; ten great-grandchildren
and five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Eugene Davis of Columbus; sister, Betty
Ann Sprouse Mullins of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Thomas C.
Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.

The funeral to celebrate Mrs. Martha's life will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25,
2008 at the Fellowship Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey
West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road. Rev. Gary Smith will officiate the service and the
pallbearers will be Bev Martin, Doug Shalburg, Dean Martin, Jesse Johnson, Craig
Bennett and Neal Bennett.
