Martha Jean Douglas

Garden City – Martha Jean Douglas, 70, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at Pruitt Health Seaside.

The Chatham County native was a retired child care teacher, having worked at Little Country Day Care for many years. She was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful sister and adored by all her nieces and nephews and all the children she cared for during the years.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Dodd (Tommy); nephew, Timmy Dodd (Missy); niece, Christy Brownley (John); beloved grand nieces and nephews; great grand nieces and nephew; and cousins Kathy Parker (Clifton) and her daughter, Jerry Parker (Patsy) and his son.

Graveside Service: 11 am Monday, August 11, 2025 at Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery.
