Mr. Marthenus C. "Martin" Barnard, age 65, of Savannah, passed away January 11, 2019.  Martin was born in south Africa and lived there until 1997.  He is survived by his daughter, Kim Barnard; granddaughter, Allyson Barnard; brother, Eric Barnard; several nieces.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2:00PM at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons West Chatham Chapel.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
