Mr. Marvin Marion Hendrix, 75, of Faulkville, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Bulloch County to the late Marvin & Bobbie Nell Hendrix. He attended Meldrim United Methodist Church for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years and retired as a Master Sergeant from the 165 th Airlift Wing after 21 years of service. He retired from ProFAB Steel Manufacturing with a total of 32 years in the steel business. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping in his motorhome, but most of all, loved his wife, children and grandbabies.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Hendrix; son, daughter-in-law and their children, Michael & Rhonda Hendrix, Chloe & Carlie; daughter, son-in-law and their children, Christie & Terry Brinson, Les & Jordan; great-grandson, Kaden Brinson; siblings and their spouses, Thomas & Sharon Hendrix, Carolyn Sims, Glenn & Donna Hendrix; sister and brother-in-law, Jewel & Larry Lanier; brother and sister-in-law, John "Buck" & Ann Mills, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
