Obituary
Pooler-Ms. Mary G. Barrow, 87, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Westview Nursing Home.
Ms. Mary was born in Louisville, KY and was preceded in death by a daughter, Geri Fulford. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed reading and playing board games with her family, and loved watching her grandchildren play ball. She was one of the best seamstress' in Chatham County and retired from Wedrell's Upholstry.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra & Mickey Stevens, Deborah Lanier, and Pamela Yawn; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granddaughters; siblings, Sherry, Betty, Joe (deceased), John, and Mike, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will start at 6 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah at P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
