Rincon – Mary Catherine "Cathy" Mixon, passed away May 1, 2022 at Memorial Health.

The Tattnall County native was a retired Registered Nurse, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and gardening.  She loved the Lord and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Dewitt and Callie Moody Martin; and son, Larry Woods.

Survivors include her children, Joe Duclos, Sheila Wells, Jim Woods (Judy), Wanda Brierton (Eric); grandchildren, Jessie Nease Giordano (Tim), Wayne Wells (Jennifer), Jamie Wells (Janee'), Susanne Bunton, Eric Brierton, Jr., Sarah Nesmith (Matt), Emily Woods, Callie Dasher; 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
