Obituary
Mrs. Mary Miller Drake, 79, of Faulkville, GA passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Wrightsville, GA, Mary enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing the piano, and cooking. She was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church where she sang in the Choir. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jessie Drake, and her granddaughter DeAnn Neal.
Surviving are her three children, Ronnie (Sharon) Drake of Garden City, Johnnie (Thomas) Tompkins of Dublin, and Edwin (Carolyn) Drake of Rincon; sisters and brothers, Ruth Jackson, Sara Barnhart, Jack Miller and Marcus Miller; grandchildren, Kevin Tompkins, Renee Kingsbury, Erin Zipperer, and Ansley Drake; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
