Rincon, Georgia- Mary Ann Hess Kutcher, 93, passed away September 23, 2025 at Effingham County Care Center.
Born in Berwick, Illinois on March 6, 1932 to Theo Hess and Doris Cleek Hess. Mary Ann married Ira Duane Kutcher on November 4, 1951 and shared 64 years together before his passing in 2015. Together they were blessed with two daughters. In 1969, the family relocated to Muskogee, Oklahoma so Duane could work for Corning Glass Works. Mary Ann was actively involved in several womens Auxillary groups and volunteering as a Pink Lady at the hospital in Muskogee.
Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She loved her husband Duane and their two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo Hess who passed away when Mary Ann was a child. Her mother, Doris Duncan and step- father, Henry H. Duncan. Mary Ann lost her husband, I. Duane Kutcher after 64 years and a sister, Betty Schoeninger ( Louis ).
Survivors include her daughters, Debra West of College Station, Texas, Marla Epperson ( Stan) of Rincon, Georgia , grandchildren, Vanessa West ( Michael Williams) of College Station, Texas. Jessica Faltysek (Jarred) of College Station, Texas. Stan D. Epperson of Rincon, Georgia, Eric S. Epperson (Alisia) of Cylo, Georgia; great-grandchildren. Miranda Gallardo, Michael T. Williams, Logan Faltysek, and Kasen Faltysek all of Texas. Emma Grace Tyson (Gunnar) of Rincon, Ga. and Shane Epperson, Clyo,Ga.
Mrs Kutcher will be laid to rest with her husband in Fort Gibson National Cemetary, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
