Mrs. Mary Ethel Klein, 86, of Pooler, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Hospice Savannah.

She was born in Charleston, SC to the late William & Nellie Bean.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Fred Klein, granddaughter, Jennifer Klein, and her brothers, Joe, Tommy and Billy Bean.  She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed traveling and playing Bridge.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Albert E. Klein, Sr.; son, Albert E. Klein, Jr. (Cheryl); daughter, Peggy Pomykala; sons, Robert Klein (Lynn) and Jack Klein (Ivy Brinson); daughter-in-law, Dee Klein; grandchildren, Bert Klein (Sally), Lori Klein, Crystal Norris (Scott), Donnie Pomykala, Andrew Pomykala, Jessica Thieman (Dan), Raven Klein, Amber Temple (Zach) Emily, Kevin and Carson Klein, Christina McGinness; great-grandchildren, Luke and Abigail Klein, Jacob and Olivia Amato, Donnie and Andrew Pomykala, William and Sarah Norris, Madison Thieman, Sam Temple, Elizabeth, Shawn, Ashley and Taylor, Aslyn and Carlyle McGinness; sister, Kitty Herrington and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Sunday, November 11 ^th from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the rosary to follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.

The funeral mass will be on Monday, November 12 ^th at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church located at 501 S. Coastal Hwy. in Port Wentworth.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the building fund of the new Corpus Christi Catholic Church, P.O. Box 621, Pooler, GA  31322, in the name of Mary Ethel Klein.
