Bloomingdale-Mrs. Mary C. Morgan Fail, 83, died on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mrs. Fail was born in Effingham County to the late Lewie & Jessie Mae Morgan and had lived in Bloomingdale for many years. She was a member of the Faulkville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy M. Love. She had previously worked at Union Camp and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, James A. Fail; daughter and son-in-law, Janet G. & Robert L. Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, James A., Jr. & Barbara Fail, all of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Rachael Lee Anderson Wages, Amy Renee Anderson Jeffers, Robert S. Anderson, Jimmy Fail, Jeffrey Fail, Michelle Fail, Mary Janette Fail Love, Jaquelyn M. Love, Jack R. Love, Jr. and James A. Love; seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Dutton of Rincon and Carol Hollis of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews and also a close family friend, Rebecca Lovett.

Visitation: 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Loran Smith will officiate and the pallbearers will be Andrew Jeffers, Robbie Anderson, Jimmy Fail, Jeffrey Fail, Steve Wages and Marty Jeffers. Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery.
