Mary Kathryn Reese Smith
Rincon – Mary Kathryn Reese Smith, 94, the beloved wife of the late Heber E. Smith, passed away peacefully on Monday morning of January 20, 2014.
Mrs. Smith was born November 17, 1919 to the late Kathryn Gertrude Lowe and Arthur Napoleon Reese in Warren County, GA. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Arthur Napoleon Reese, Jr., and her sister, Marion Howell.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, William "Bill" Smith (Norma) of Gainesville, GA, her daughter, Lillie Duke (Drexel) of Rincon, and her daughter, Vickie Cohen (Buddy) of Rincon; grandchildren, Roxanne Deal (Steve), Drexel "Bubba" Duke (Amy), Michael Duke (Kimberly), Scott Smith (Dawn), Michelle Brazell (Gary), Angie Roberts (Jason), and Kim Packer (Michael); 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
