Mrs. Mary E. Romano

Guyton-Mrs. Mary E. Romano, 60, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Candler Hospital.

Mrs. Romano was born in Metter and had lived in Effingham County for a number of
years. She was a member of LifeSpring Worship Center where she had formerly been
employed.. She enjoyed cooking, working crossword puzzles and being in the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Michael, Mark and Matthew Romano.

Survivors include her husband, Maurice Anthony Romano of Guyton; her children,
Michelle Lynn Stanley & Billy of Pooler, Melissa Marie Wilson & Buckwheat of Guyton,
Gary Lee Romano & Donna of Ellabell, Gregory Scott Romano of Guyton and Staci
Louise Moore & Shawn of Guyton; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
sister and brother-in-law, Arlita & Larry Gooding of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers and
sisters-in-law, Ray & Jeanelle Hollingsworth of Guyton and Buddy & Emily
Hollingsworth of Guyton and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Effingham Memorial Gardens.

Bloomingdale, GA 31302.
