Mary Josephine Kelly Shea
Springfield- Mary Shea,94, widower of Leonard P. Shea, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Lakeview Manor under the care of the staff and Odyssey Hospice.
She was born September 6, 1916 in Limerick, Ireland and was of the Catholic faith. She had resided in New York City and Winter Haven, FL prior to moving to Springfield in 2006.
Survivors include her brother, Fr. Michael Kelly of Limerick, Ireland; sister-in-law, Regina Hayes of Titusville, FL; nephews, Tom and John Kelly of Limerick, and Johnny Hayes of Gainesville, GA; nieces, Mary Jenkins of Rincon, Vicky Hayes of New York City, and Lenora Betchan of Titusville, FL.
Visitation: 5-7 pm Friday, February 18, 2011 in the funeral home.
Funeral Mass: 10 am Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Interment: Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
The family would like to thank Dr. Prakash Patel, the staff of Lakeview Manor and Odyssey Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
