Obituary

Garden City-Mrs. Mary E. Singletary, 84, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Candler Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Mary was born in Claxton to the late Fred & Ella Boatright. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Singletary and a great-grandson, Lee Adam Singletary, III "Trey". She was a member of Jasper Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Walt Singletary; children, John L. Griner (Merole), Sherry Harrell, Michael Griner (Brenda) and Kelly Singletary; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Boatright; many nieces and nephews and her friend of 50 years, Bessie Kicklighter.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
