Ellabell-Mrs. Mary "Jackie" Skelton Vincent, 74, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014.
Mrs. Jackie was born in Valdosta to the late Franklin & Irene Skelton. She worked several years in the cafeteria at Bryan County High School and retired after 20 years of service from the Skidaway Road location of Western Auto.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie H. Vincent; children, James Howard Vincent, Ronald Vincent (Rhonda), Jeanine Ballard (deceased), Patty Jenkins and Lisa Mewborn; son-in law, Jimmy Ballard and son-in-law, Mike Mewborn (deceased); seven grandchildren, Melissa Jenkins, Stacy Turnage, Amanda Cowart, Thomas Vincent, Michael Vincent, Phillip Vincent and Haley Mewborn; 6 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Logan Kennedy, Megan Kennedy, Jacqueline Jenkins, Starla Vincent and Thomas Vincent, Jr.; sister, Margaret Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the funeral home with the memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
