West Chatham Chapel

Bloomingdale-Mrs. Mary E. Wingate- "Mema", 81, died on Thursday, November 13,
2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Chatham County native was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her
grandchildren and was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Diane Wingate.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, George Wingate, Sr. of Bloomingdale;
children, George Wingate, Jr. of Pooler, Deborah & Richard Willoughby of
Bloomingdale, David & Diane Wingate of Bloomingdale and Rhonda & Keith Messex of
Bloomingdale; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gleneice Sills of
Guyton; brothers, Glenn Langford, Jr. of Atlanta, Ronald Langford of Savannah and
Donald Langford of Savannah; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and
her husband, Linda & Al Weiss of Tacoma, Washington; and a brother-in-law, William
Ray, Sr. of Rincon.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Gravel Hill Cemetery.
