Rincon – Maryann Faulk Browning, 64, passed away November 6, 2023 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

The Virginia native was very active in the outdoors and loved spending time with her family.  She loved hiking, biking, the mountains and the beach.  She especially enjoyed waterfall hikes the last few years.  Many vacations were planned around our amazing state and national parks.  She also played tennis and was active in leagues in Savannah.  Her green thumb was obvious inside and out, enjoying lots of plants and flowers – this made her smile!

She was a retired Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst.

She was preceded in death by her father, Barney Faulk; and her mother-in-law, Marilynn Browning.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Jim Browning, sons, Kevin Browning and Paul Browning; her mother, Mary Faulk; brothers, Michael Faulk, Jerry Faulk (Lauren); brothers-in-law, Jack Browning, Danny Browning (Regina), David Browning (Carolyn); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to any Cancer Research Organization.
