Maryann Crawford Shaw

Rincon – Maryann Crawford Shaw, 79, Passed away Wednesday August 6,2025 at home. Maryann grew up in Gretna Louisiana and graduated with honors from west Jefferson high school. She attended Georgia Southern College and received bachelor's degree 1981 and master's degree 1982 with honors in art education. Maryann spent 20 years as a Statesboro business owner while teaching 35 years for the Bulloch County Department of Education as a K-5 art teacher. Maryann retired to Rincon Ga. In 2012.

Maryann was preceded in death by parents Carrol S. Crawford and wife Mary Creasey Crawford. By her husband Raymond Robert Shaw. She is survived by her children Brian Shaw and wife Rebecca Shaw and their children Laurie Clifton, Emma Shaw, and Katie Shaw, Gayle Dubose with husband Stephen Dubose, and Paul Raymond Shaw. Maryann is also survived by great grandchildren Ambrie Rayne, Everlee Rose and Robert Marcus Clifton
