Matthew Wayne Michael

Guyton- Matthew Wayne Michael, 38, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2018.

The Decatur, GA native was an avid race car fan and loved shooting guns. He was a boy scout and graduated from Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover, Ohio in 1998. He went to Northwestern University in Lima, OH, having earned an Associate's Degree before going to MMI in Orlando, FL where he specialized in Jaguar technology. He worked for Jaguar Land Rover for 16 years achieving master mechanics status.

He enjoyed reading and history, spending time with his family, especially exploring adventures with his wife.

He was a wonderful husband, loving son, loyal brother, and fierce friend.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Michael; two fur babies, Talulah & Sugar; parents, Mel & Sheila Michael of Andover, OH; sister, Stephanie O'Ryan (Stacee) of Hebron, KY; brother, Dan Michael (Christina) of Ocean Springs, MS; two nieces, Natalie & Ashley Michael of Ocean Springs, MS; grandfather, Richard Schertzer of Andover, OH; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Memorial Service: 2 pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the funeral home chapel. This memorial service will be very informal. Matt would like everyone to wear their best sarcastic t-shirt.
