PT. WENTWORTH: Mrs. Mattie Jean West, 79, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. West was a life long resident of Pt. Wentworth and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elzie V. West, Jr. and she is the last surviving member of the Holloway family.
She is survived by her children, Gary West, Theresa W. Thompson (Terry) and Greg West; grandchildren, Brian and Deana Thompson, Cassie Hill, Carrie Patrick and Dalton West; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.
