Maudeane Arden Clifton
Springfield – Maudeane Arden Clifton, 90, passed away June 14, 2017 at Southern Manor in Statesboro.
The Effingham County native was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church, the U.M.W., and the Clyo Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Carlyn Arden; and husband, P.W. Clifton, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy (Ronnie) Hodges of Eatonton and Jane (Jim) Young of Statesboro; grandchildren, Jason Norton, Allison Norton, Dustin Hodges, Ryan Hodges, and Shannon Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Springfield United Methodist Church Dent Hall. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the church.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
