Maxine Anderson Oglesby

Rincon- Maxine Anderson Oglesby, 99, passed away October 29, 2024 at Effingham Care Center, Springfield, GA.

Maxine was a member of Rincon Global Methodist Church. She lovingly supported her husband in his many endeavors during their life together. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Webster Oglesby, Sr.; her parents, Mack & Lessie Anderson; her siblings, Don Anderson, Evon Hills, and Bill Anderson; and two grandsons, Scott Edwards and Jeff Edwards.

She is survived by her children, Marcelle Davis and Phillip, Morris Webster Oglesby, Jr. and Joyce, Sue Cates and Parker, Ricky Darnell Oglesby and Joy; a sister-in-law, Martha Zeigler; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 1 - 3 pm Thursday, October 31, 2024 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 pm Thursday, October 31, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery
