Rincon – Maybell Myrick White, 82, passed away January 2, 2022 at Effingham Care Center.

The Chatham County native retired from Gulfstream and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed going to church, shopping, sewing, and fishing.

She was preceded in death by 12 siblings; her granddaughter, Tabitha Creel; and step-son, Richard V. White.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph V. White; daughters, Barbara LaRotonda (Henry Doctor) and Linda Pierce (Alvin); step-daughters, Kathy Smith (Richard) and Brenda Morris (Scotty);  15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
