Mr. M.C. "Carlos" Turner, 82, of Rincon, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Statesboro to the late Joe & Madie Turner.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Mixon Turner, and his second wife, Joann Hamilton Turner.  He was the former owner/operator of Armor Metals.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, served in the Air National Guard, and enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Keith Turner (Wendy), Sherry Swindle (Nick), and Carol Stanford (Kevin); grandchildren, Chad Swindle (Amanda), Ali Brewer (David), Tiffany Kreun (Travis), Natalie Macalister (Daniel), Kevin Stanford, Jr. (Becky), Kristin Stanford and Kerry Stanford; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Judie Marsh; sister-in-law, Margie Boykin, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
