Melba Ernestine Nease Clary
Rincon – Melba Ernestine Nease Clary, 76, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her residence.
The Chatham County native was a member of Port Wentworth United Methodist Church, Amy Exley Sunday School Class, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ernestine Nease.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Clary of Rincon; son, Richard (Jude) Clary of Valley Mills, TX; daughters, Kay (Nicky) Powell of Rincon, Jean (Bruce) Erwin of Hattiesburg, MS, and Joan (Craig) Sharpe of Statesboro; brothers, Bubba (Betty Sue) Nease of Rincon and Ernie (Velma) Nease of Springfield; sisters, Nancy (Bobby) Murray of Garden City and Cheri (Tommy) Spence of Millen; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Port Wentworth United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East.
