Melissa Phillips, 51, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Melissa was born in Brunswick, was a spiritual being, and was employed at Parker's in Blitchton.

Survivors include her children, Amanda Joy Yeater, and her husband, Jeremy Ross Yeater, Shawn Lee Wright, and his wife, Mikaela Alyssa Wright, Fallyn Raye Kaufmann, and her husband, Gary Joseph Kaufmann, III; grandchildren, Madison Raye Yeater and Meadow Bree Wright; mother, Geraldine Cannon; siblings, Chuck LeFrancois, Laura Yawn, Gina Shefferman, Angie Neely, Elaine Enke, Susan Head, and Danny Neely; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The viewing and visitation for Melissa will be on Wednesday, October 21 ^st from 5 until 8 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in effect, including the mandatory wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).
