Meredith Rountree Arnsdorff
Springfield- Meredith Rountree Arnsdorff, 72, died Sunday, October 9, 2016.
She was born in Parris Island, SC, but was a lifelong resident of Effingham County. She was member of Bible Lutheran Church. She had worked for 40 years with the Effingham County Board of Education, where she had been a teacher and principal at Rincon Elementary and had served as assistant superintendant. She was also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Arnsdorff; children, Robin Arnsdorff Turner (David), Marci Arnsdorff Burnsed (Timmy), and Jake Arnsdorff (Kimberly); sister, Sophie Freyermuth (Jerry); brother, Carey Rountree (Janet); grandchildren, Timothy, Sadie Grace, Brooks, Kayne, and Gatlyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10-11 am Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Bible Lutheran Church.
Funeral: 11 am Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Bible Lutheran Church.
Interment: Bible Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Remembrances: Bible Lutheran Church.
